Cure
Cure is a digital health companion built to empower women in navigating their personal health journeys. The project focuses on reducing feelings of isolation by offering tools to track menstrual and medication routines, while bridging the gap between users and empathetic healthcare professionals.

UX Journey: From Research to Realization
We followed a four-phase UX process to bring Cure to life. Starting with discovery, we conducted user interviews, desk research, and field observations to deeply understand women’s healthcare needs. In the define stage, we shaped a clear problem statement and mapped out personas and journeys. The ideation phase helped us structure the experience through information architecture, user flows, and wireframes. Finally, in the design phase, we crafted a cohesive visual identity, built the design system, and created a final UI backed by real usage scenarios.

User Research: Understanding Women’s Health Journeys
Our user research phase combined fieldwork, interviews, and competitive analysis to deeply understand women’s real experiences with healthcare. We visited clinics, analyzed existing health apps, and conducted interviews with 7 women from diverse backgrounds. These insights revealed gaps in trust, access to reliable information, and emotional support, guiding the direction of Cure from the beginning.

User Interviews: Real Voices, Real Insights
To understand the emotional and practical struggles women face in healthcare, we conducted one-on-one interviews with 7 women from different ages and socio-economic backgrounds. Their stories revealed common themes of feeling judged, lacking access to trustworthy information, and needing more supportive care. These raw, honest conversations shaped our personas, pain points, and ultimately, the purpose behind Cure.

Customer Journey Map: Mapping Emotions, Moments & Needs
We created detailed customer journey maps based on real user interviews to visualize how women experience their health challenges over time. By focusing on two users with different ages and needs, we highlighted their thoughts, emotions, and pain points at each stage from confusion and fear to relief and clarity. These journeys helped us design features that truly support and empower users when they need it most.

Information Architecture: Structuring Clarity & Ease
We developed a clear and intuitive information architecture to ensure users could easily navigate Cure without confusion. By organizing content around real user needs like tracking, learning, and connecting with doctors, we built a logical flow that supports both exploration and quick access. This structure became the foundation for a seamless and supportive user experience.

User Flow Diagram: Guiding Users with Intention
We designed a detailed user flow to map out every step a user might take within Cure. This helped us define the most efficient paths for core tasks like booking a doctor appointment or tracking medication. By visualizing the entire experience early on, we were able to spot friction points and ensure every interaction felt smooth, intuitive, and purposeful.

Mood board: Crafting a Calm, Empathetic Aesthetic
Our mood board set the visual tone for Cure which centered around softness, safety, and trust. We curated calming colors, organic shapes, and gentle imagery to reflect the emotional support users need during vulnerable health moments. This visual direction laid the groundwork for a soothing and empowering design language throughout the product.

Design System: Building Blocks of a Consistent Experience
We created a flexible, scalable design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across Cure. From typography and color palettes to buttons and iconography, every component was crafted to align with the brand’s calm and caring tone. This system made it easier to maintain coherence across screens and sped up the UI development process.

Usage Scenarios: Designing for Real-Life Moments
To ensure Cure truly fits into users’ lives, we created realistic usage scenarios based on our research personas. These scenarios helped us visualize how different women might interact with the app from tracking symptoms during a tough day to booking a doctor after weeks of hesitation. They kept our design decisions grounded in empathy, context, and real-world needs.
